My Photography

For a few years I've been taking a lot of photos, posting many of them to my page on Flickr.com.  I have more than 2,300 photos on that site now.

In the last few years, because of my photos being seen there, I've been contacted and asked to allow my photos to be used in a few publications.  Here are a few that I'm particularly proud of.

This is probably the best:  In 2009 I was contacted by the Whitman Publishing Company concerning a new book they intended to publish about America's National Parks that were being honored with new quarters being issued by the U.S. Mint.  I had taken some photos at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial at Put-In-Bay on South Bass Island in Lake Erie.

They used two of my photos that are below in the book that was published in mid-2011.

This is a statue of Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry in the Visitor

Also, McGraw-Hill Publishing asked to use a picture that I took from the top of Perry's Memorial in a 5th grade textbook entitled "Macmillan Science: OH Handbook, Grade 5 Student Edition."   They used this image showing the Put-In-Bay Harbor and Gibraltar Island:

Finally, the Downtown Painesville Organization in Painesville, Ohio used this photo on their website's church page.  If you click on the photo it links to the photo on my Flickr page, too!
